This exciting event is the grand finale of the Run Manatee 5K series, where participants can explore the stunning natural beauty of Manatee County through a beautiful mixed terrain course. Experience the vibrant ecosystems of Rye Preserve as you run or walk the 5K distance, all while keeping an eye out for unique wildlife like the rare gopher tortoise and Florida scrub-jay.
The day kicks off at 7:30 AM with packet pick-up, followed by a warm-up session led by Randal Wagner from F45 Parrish at 7:45 AM. The fun begins with a .25KM fun run at 8:00 AM, before the 5K run takes off at 8:15 AM. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, ensuring a day filled with fitness, food, and fun! Enjoy local vendors, a healthy breakfast or lunch, and after the race, join a relaxing yoga session with Rachel Kisellus. Plus, your participation supports local non-profits, with 10% of registration fees donated

THE RUN MANATEE 5K SERIES OFFERS THREE ADVENTURES TO CELEBRATE ONE COMMUNITY. PARTICIPANTS WILL DISCOVER MANATEE COUNTY'S PARKS, BEACHES AND PRESERVES... ON THE RUN! THE FINAL EVENT OF THE SERIES WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND, 2025, AT RYE PRESERVE IN PARRISH, FL. THE 5K RUN/WALK PRESENTED BY RUN WITH PURPOSE NUTRITION WILL ALLOW RUNNERS TO EXPLORE THIS BEAUTIFUL SLICE OF OLD FLORIDA ON MIXED TERRAIN. THE PRESERVE'S TRAIL SYSTEM LEADS VISITORS THROUGH FOUR DISTINCTIVE ECOSYSTEMS, INCLUDING SAND PINE SCRUB, XERIC OAK SCRUB, OAK HAMMOCKS AND THE RIVER COMMUNITY. LOOK CLOSELY FOR A GLIMPSE OF THE VARIETY OF INTERESTING CREATURES THAT CAN BE SEEN IN THESE AREAS INCLUDING THE RARE GOPHER TORTOISE AND FLORIDA SCRUB-JAY.
