This vibrant 5K event invites runners of all ages to join in a celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness while taking in the stunning views along the shores of First Street Beach and through downtown Manistee. Participants are encouraged to wear as much pink as possible to show their support for this important cause.
The race will start and finish near the Manistee Municipal Marina, creating a picturesque backdrop for an unforgettable day. While this is an unofficially timed event, runners can keep track of their own times with a clock available at the start and finish lines. Each finisher will receive a medal, and there will be an opportunity for same-day registration and bib pickup starting at 8:00 AM. Join us in making a difference for breast cancer patients and their families, as all proceeds from this event benefit Paint The Town Pink, which has been supporting the community for over a decade. JOIN US FOR A 5K WITH A COLORFUL TWIST!
This local 5K may follow a familiar formatbut with a vibrant splash of Pink! Runners are encouraged to wear as much pink as theyd like to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness. The scenic course winds along the shores of First Street Beach and through downtown Manistee, starting and finishing near the Manistee Municipal Marina.
Please note, this is currently an unofficially timed event. While there will be clock at the start/finish line, runners are encouraged to keep their own time for more accurate finishing times. Runners who complete the race will receive a finishing medal but there will be no age group awards.
PACKET/BIB PICKUP
* Bibs can be picked up the day of the race starting at 8:00AM UNTIL 8:45AM. Registration will remain open until the race begins to include same-day signups.
* Bibs can also be picked up at the Manistee Hospital Community Health Center from 12PM UNTIL 5:30PM. The Community Health Center is located at 1345 E. Parkdale Ave, Manistee, MI, 49660.
* Feel free to decorate your bib with any names, memories, or any other designs you'd like to showcase for who or why you are participating!
Spectators are welcome and encouraged to join the funjust dont forget to wear pink!
All proceeds from the event will benefit PAINT THE TOWN PINK, one of Manistee Countys largest events supporting breast cancer patients and their families. For over a decade, Paint the Town Pink has honored those affected by cancer while raising vital funds and awareness for this important cause. Were proud to carry on this meaningful tradition.
Thanks to community support, this beloved event has helped fund:
* 3D digital mammography equipment
* A breast biopsy chair
* Enhancements to breast health services and education at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital
