Organiser's Description
Christopher (Chris) was a lifelong resident of Hamden who graduated from Hamden High, Trinity College and Yale University. Chris was a devoted psychiatric APRN at Yale New Haven Hospital and Turnbridge. He was passionate about the care of his patients and believed that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Christopher J. Andreozzi (CJA) Charitable Foundation.
All donations made to CJA go directly toward furthering the Foundations mission of honoring the life and legacy of Christopher Andreozzi. CJA is dedicated to raising awareness about Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) and arrhythmia, and providing critical education, training, and equipmentfrom CPR instruction to supplying Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and moreto empower individuals and communities to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies.
In addition to its direct efforts, the Foundation proudly supports the Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS) Foundation and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. CJA also will be looking to the future by sponsoring academic scholarships at Hamden High School and the Yale University School of Nursing, to educate future leaders in healthcare in Christophers memory.
Together, we can work to educate and make a lasting impact to both the medical and academic fields, and ultimately help save lives
