This vibrant St. Patrick's themed fun run, hosted by the Crete Community Runners Association, invites participants of all ages and paces to join in the spirit of the season along the beautiful Crete Bike Trail. The course spans approximately 2.7 miles, just shy of a 5k, starting and finishing at Lions Park.

It's time to SHAM-ROCK-RUN! The Crete Community Runners Association [https://www.creterunners.org/] is hosting our 3rd annual St. Patrick's themed fun run - the Running o' the Path! In conjunction with the Crete Park District [https://cretepark.com/], we will be running and walking the beautiful Crete Bike Trail! The path is approximately 2.7 miles - just under a 5k. We will begin the race at Lions Park and make our way down the trail and back.
NEW this year, we have a timer! Feel free to run, jog or walk at your own pace. Watch for surprises along the trail...you just might spot a leprechaun!
This is a FREE community event for all ages and paces. The CCRA will be collecting donations that will allow us to continue to provide FREE events to Crete and surrounding residents!
