This exciting event aims to raise funds and awareness for the West Branch Drug & Alcohol Abuse Commission, which offers crucial services for those battling addiction in Lycoming and Clinton counties. The race will kick off at 10:00 AM at the South Williamsport Park Complex, located at 545 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport, PA 17702.
Participants can also take part in a virtual 5K or 10K throughout September, completing the race at their convenience. With awards for the top three finishers in the in-person race and free registration for children aged 10 and under, this event caters to all ages and abilities. We are so excited for the 9th Annual Running Over Addiction Event on 9/14/2024!
Running Over Addiction is held to raise funds and awareness for the West Branch Drug & Alcohol Abuse Commission, which provides services to those who live in Lycoming & Clinton counties. The Commission provides valuable prevention services as well as treatment to those who are fighting addiction.
Location: South Williamsport Park Complex, 545 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport PA 17702
Race start time for the 5K: 10:00 AM (Race check in and day of registration will begin at 8 AM)
Virtual 5k/10k: Can be completed anytime in September wherever you are. (Virtual Participants that register before the shirt deadline will have their shirt shipped out by 9/21/24.
**ONLY PARTICIPANTS WHO REGISTER BY MIDNIGHT ON 8/18/24 WILL BE GUARANTEED TO RECEIVE A SHIRT WITH THEIR REGISTRATION**
Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (in person only).
***Children age 10 & Under participating in the 5K can register for FREE. No shirt is included with the FREE registration. All participants must register to sign a waiver, but no fee will be charged.***
