ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH, THE JACK AND JILL OF AMERICA, INC. ERIE SHORES CHAPTER WILL BE RUNNING THE SHORES IN OUR SECOND ANNUAL 5K RUN/WALK, BENEFITTING THE JACK AND JILL OF AMERICA FOUNDATION. WE INVITE FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND THE COMMUNITY TO TAKE THE PLUNGE WITH US FOR A DAY OF FRIENDLY COMPETITION FOR A CAUSE. CHECK-IN AND ONSITE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN AT 8:00 AM, FOLLOWED BY RECOGNITION OF THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS, AND A SPECIAL PRESENTATION HONORING THE LATE DR. EDGAR JACKSON, PIONEER OF SICKLE CELL RESEARCH. RACERS WILL SET SAILS AT 9:00 AM FROM EDGEWATER PARK, WHERE BOTH INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS ARE WELCOME.
