Participants can choose between two distances: the 10K race kicks off at 7:45 AM with an electrifying machine gun blast from the Town Green, while the 5K follows shortly after. Both races take you past scenic highlights such as Kobs Knob and the serene route up to Heaven, ultimately leading you back to the vibrant finish line near The Stables at Russell Crossroads. After crossing the finish line, join in the fun at the post-race party, featuring the famous Grits Bar and live music to celebrate your accomplishment! Be sure to mark your calendars and prepare for a fantastic day of running and community spirit!

LET'S RUN THROUGH THE RUSSELL FOREST!!
The Russell Forest Run is a race that carries runners on a certified course over sand, clay, and gravel roads that were designed for runners, bicycles, and electric cars. The scenic route will still start at Russell Crossroads, and will still take runners near Kobs Knob, up to Heaven, and back to the finish line near The Stables at Russell Crossroads. The 10K will start promptly at 7:45am with a machine gun blast from the Town Green at Russell Crossroads. The 5K, also an out and back, begins at the Town Green and will start with the machine gun blast soon after 10K. Of course the finish line is near The Stables, the home of our post-race party, where you'll find our World Famous Grits Bar, live music and more! Packet Pickup for both runs is Friday, February 27st and Saturday, February 28nd at The Discovery Center in Russell Crossroads. Please follow the registration signs. Please be aware that there are no pets allowed on the course during the Russell Forest Run. OPENS AUG 25The Russell Forest Run 10K course map can be seen on the RFR website: http://russellforestrun.com/ The Russell Forest Run 10K is an out and back "chip timed" run. There is plenty of parking on-site and a shuttle may be available for those who may need it. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get to the site. The 10K will begin PROMPTLY at 7:45am! Packet Pickup will be Friday, February 27 from 4-6pm and Saturday, February 28 from 6am to 7am in the Discovery Center at Russell Crossroads! -
