Join us for the exciting Rustic Run 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, in the charming town of Glenwood City, Wisconsin, as part of the beloved Rustic Lore Days festival! This vibrant event will kick off with the kid's race at 5:30 PM, followed closely by the 5K race at 6:00 PM and the 1 Miler at 6:05 PM, all taking place in beautiful Hinman Park.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or simply looking to enjoy a walk with family and friends, this event has something for everyone. The 5K and 1 Miler courses will take you along paved trails and roadways, while the kid's race will be set in a fun grassy area around the playground. Don't forget to arrive early for race day registration, as cash will only be accepted on-site. Participants will be treated to delicious refreshments post-race and will receive a fantastic swag bag filled with locally-donated goodies. Plus, new this year is the 1 Miler course, offering a shorter option that mirrors the 5K route!

Organiser's Description
The Rustic Run takes place in scenic Glenwood City, WI during our annual town festival weekend of Rustic Lore Days! The kid's race starts at 5:30 PM, 5K race starts at 6:00 PM, and the 1 Miler race starts at 6:05 PM - all in Hinman Park near the pavilion shelter. Registration is available on race day - please arrive around 5:00-5:30 for race day registration (cash only accepted on race day).
These races are for all types of runners, joggers, and walkers. The 5K & 1 Miler will be on paved trail and paved roadways. The Kid's Race will take place in a grassy area around the playground. Running strollers are welcome, but please NO PETS.
There will be race refreshments for all participants at the end of the race! All participants will receive a great swag bag of locally-donated goodies! OPENS 02 JUNRustic Run Kids Race: - Starting at Hinman Park Shelter kids will run around the Hinman Park Playground and stay in the grassy area, then finish by the shelter. Kids Race is a loop course. - The race will be held in 2 Heats - Heat 1: Ages 3-6 years old = 200 meters (1 lap around Hinman Playground) - Heat 2: Ages 7-10 years old = 400 meters (2 laps around Hinman Playground)
