Please join us for our 8th annual Melanoma Walk in memory of Stephen "Miggy" Chavez. "SADDLE UP FOR MELANOMA" is the theme of our event this year.

OPENS 01 OCTThe event includes a stroll around the park covering 1/3 mile. The route is marked with educational signs including information and statistics about adult and pediatric skin cancer. The walk ends at the gazebo which will serve as our staging area. You will be greeted by music, food, raffle prizes, art for the children, silent auction, a photo booth, pony rides, farm petting zoo, and free skin checks performed by Baptist Health Cancer Care and Children's Skin Center. This is truly a wonderful opportunity for families to learn about sun safety while enjoying a fun filled morning at the park. The event is free, but we greatly appreciate donations.
