SAGE/WAGE 5K Walk/Run

PLEASE JOIN US ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 AT 10 AM (SAME-DAY REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 9 AM) RAIN OR SHINE AT THE STUDENT CENTER PATIO AT MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY (MORE DETAILS HERE [/more%20details%20here]) FOR OUR 5K WALK/RUN TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION! THIS TIME WE ARE HONORING THE MEMORY OF JANAYA LEWINKSI '17, A MU GRADUATE WHO WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN FOUNDING SAGE. SHE BROUGHT HER ENTHUSIASM INTO EVERYTHING SHE DID, OFTEN WITH HER BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL SMILE. BUT BEHIND THAT SMILE, SHE WAS A FIERCELY DETERMINED YOUNG WOMAN WHO WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP SOMEONE IN NEED OR CHEER UP SOMEONE SAD WITH HER HUMOR THAT THANKFULLY NEVER LEFT HER. ALTHOUGH HER LIFE HAS BEEN CUT SHORT FAR TOO SOON, HER SPIRIT AND ZEST FOR LIFE WILL LIVE ON IN THOSE WHO KNEW HER.

IN ADDITION TO REGISTERING YOURSELF, YOU CAN ALSO BE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISER BY ASKING FRIENDS AND FAMILIES TO CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR CAUSE! HAVE FUN WITH IT BY GIVING YOUR TEAM A NAME, DRESSING ALIKE AND MAKING YOUR OWN SIGNS!
