The race kicks off at 8:30 AM, starting and finishing at Saline City Hall, located at 100 North Harris Street. With a beautiful course likely to feature scenic adjustments due to planned construction, participants can look forward to an invigorating run through the heart of Saline.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best or just out for a fun day in the sun, the Saline Summerfest 5K offers a unique twist with contests such as the “Most Creative Route” and “Best Photo” for some friendly competition and bragging rights. Plus, the top 200 finishers will be rewarded with free ice cream! Don’t forget, runners who register by July 21, 2025, are guaranteed a coveted race t-shirt. _FURTHEST FROM SALINE_ - as measured by google maps. Post a picture to Twitter, Facebook and/or Strava with #salinesummerfest5k2024 showing your route and location. Whoever is furthest away from the Four Corners will win bragging rights and be referred to as the SALINE XC LONG DISTANCE SUPPORTER.
_BEST PHOTO__ _ Post a picture in your race t-shirt or any Saline XC gear at the most picturesque part of your run. The winner will be crowned MS. OR MR. PHOTOGENIC and will adorn our run website for at least the next year.
