Join us for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the 4th Annual Scarecrow Festival Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in beautiful downtown Oxford, Oakland! This family-friendly event offers something for everyone with a choice of race distances, including a 1-mile run, a 5K, and the adorable Lil Pumpkin Dash for little ones aged 7 and under. The start and finish line will be located on Hudson Street, where you can soak in the festive atmosphere.
Participants will receive a unique magnet frame crafted by local artist Lorry, and all proceeds will benefit the Stronger Together Downtown Trolley Express program. Plus, families can enjoy a discount—after four registrations in a single transaction, a $5 discount applies! The course is open to traffic, making it dog and stroller friendly, so everyone can join in on the fun. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in both the 5K and 1-mile races. Don’t forget to don your favorite Fall or Halloween costume and stick around for the vibrant Scarecrow Festival festivities following the race. DOWNTOWN OXFORD - START/FINISH LINE WILL BE ON HUDSON ST.
To kick off the Scarecrow Festival activities we invite you and your family to join us for our 4th Annual Family Fun Run/Walk in downtown Oxford.
-We will have a 1 mile and 5k option open to all ages as well as a Lil Pumpkin Dash (100 Yards) for the little ones 7yo and under.
-Participants will receive a magnet frame Gracefully Crafted by Lorry
-Proceeds will benefit Stronger Together Downtown Trolley Express program.
-Family Discount - After 4 registrations on the same transaction, a $5 discount will apply to all registrations (discount is auto-applied in cart).
-Course is OPEN to traffic and is dog & stroller friendly. Dogs must be leashed.
