Kick off the festivities with packet pick-up throughout the day, leading up to the 5K race starting at 5:00 PM. The race will take you on a scenic route from the North County Aquatic Center, providing a perfect blend of community spirit and fitness. After the race, stick around for the awards ceremony and enjoy a community Trunk-or-Treat event, complete with a pool party featuring a screening of "Goonies." Whether you’re vying for the title of best costume or competing for age group awards, the Sebastian Scream 5K is an event not to be missed! Indian River County First Responders are excited to present the Inaugural _SEBASTIAN SCREAM 5K & HAUNTED RAIL TRAIL. _
WHY IT MATTERS: First Responders face intense challenges on the job every day. Proceeds from this event will directly support counseling services, peer-support programs, and critical stress debriefing initiatives for our local Police, Sheriff, Fire and EMS personnel.
RACE INFORMATION:
* Each race participant will receive a Sebastian 5K & Haunted Rail Trail T-shirt while supplies last. Register by October 6th for a guaranteed shirt.
* Each race participant will receive (1) ticket to the Haunted Rail Trail (Haunted Trail may be too intense for young children)
* Award for best costume
* Join us after the race at the North County Aquatic Center where the Indian River County Parks and Recreation Department hosts TRUNK-OR-TREAT and opens the pool to swim while "Goonies" plays on the big screen.

6:30 PM: Haunted Rail Trail Opens. Haunted Rail Trail begins at North County Aquatic Center and travels east 3/4 miles. Transportation will be provided back to the North County Aquatic Center.
10:30 PM: Haunted Rail Trail Ends
