Organiser's Description
On Saturday, May 4th, 2023, the Shipshewana Mayfest Road Run will be taking place as part of Shipshewana's Annual Mayfest celebration. The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels.
We will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. with the 1 Mile Fun Run. The race will begin at 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building. From there, they will head North to North Village Drive. They will turn right onto Village Drive and continue to the Shipshewana Fitness Center, which is the turn-around point. The runners will then head back to the finish line, which is also where they originally started. Prizes will be awarded to the top three boys and girls. At 8:30 am, the 5K Shipshewana Road Run begins. Immediately following the race, prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women overall, and the winner in each age division. Both races will be electronically timed.
Pre-registration cost is $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run (13 and under) and $20 for the 5K. Registration will also be available the morning of the race for $17 and $22 respectively. Pre-registration ends Friday, May 3rd at 3:00pm. All those who register the morning of the race will receive T-shirts while supplies last.
