HOW IT WORKS: It's time for Soul Trak Outdoors' annual Miles for Soul 5K Run/Walk Event
WHO:
Soul Trak Outdoors works to connect communities of color to the outdoors, with the mission to cultivate the next generation of black and brown outdoor stewards. We are fortunate to have been afforded to work in this space, and we would like to continue to celebrate this milestone with our Soul Trak family across the globe.
WHAT:
On Sunday, September 27th, were calling all Soul Trakers to lace up and step out in support of our youth! Join us for Miles for Soul, a community 5K walk and celebration dedicated to raising funds that help provide local kids with transformative outdoor experiences.
Whether you're in the Greater Washington, DC area or cheering us on from afar, we invite you to be part of the movement. Come together with our community, get outside, and help us empower the next generation through adventure.

Our collective goal is to raise $20,000 to support a DC-based nonprofit dedicated to connecting communities of color to the outdoors with a goal of creating the next generation of black and brown outdoor stewards. We accomplish this by bridging the gap between communities of color and outdoor adventures.
* Entry Donation: $30 or above, per participant.
* Bonus: If participants register and participate in "Miles for Soul" Summer Challenge, they will receive 10% off the race day entry fee for Soul Trak's September 5K Run/Walk Event.
* Prize: Grand prize for the team with the most miles from the "Miles for Soul" Summer Challenge.

This is an in-person and virtual event designed to promote wellness and engagement within the outdoors, and activation of mind, body, and soul. This event is for all walkers, runners, cyclists, and commuters. Our goal is to create community through our love of the outdoors. *You must be registered in order for your mileage to count towards the goal! *Mileage cannot be submitted until July 9th, 2025. *There is no medal for this event, but commemorative items will be available soon. -

Teams of 5 participants + Team Captain will compete by logging the most miles through running, biking, walking, or hiking. Our collective goal is to raise $30,000 to support a Soul Trak Outdoors_DC-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting healthy, active lifestyles for kids in underserved communities.
