Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the South Boston St. Patrick's Day Race 2024! This vibrant community event will take place on March 17, 2024, in the heart of Boston, Suffolk. Participants can look forward to a spirited race that not only promotes health and fitness but also supports a great cause—the youth development programs of the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Clubs.
Runners will enjoy a scenic route along the famous parade path, with the race starting and ending at the Boys & Girls Club. The course takes you down Dorchester Street and E Broadway, culminating at the picturesque Pleasure Bay/Boston Harbor. This year promises the same fantastic shirt design by the Dropkick Murphys, and performances by local South Boston kids and teens will add to the festive atmosphere. Join in on this cherished tradition that dates back to 1940, and help support our future leaders while celebrating the joy of running!

SAME GREAT CAUSE, SAME GREAT COURSE, SAME SHIRT DESIGNERS (THANKS, DROPKICK MURPHYS) !
It is all about the run, the shirt and supporting our kids!
Fingers crossed for sunny and dry, as we cannot refund for bad weather!
Our race is a fun, healthy and a meaningful community event, full of spirit and good cheer and positive energy. It is also a crucial fundraiser for Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Clubs youth development and teen programs.
* Featuring: Performances by South Boston kids & teens!
* Enjoy running the famous parade route, 2 hours before the parade steps off. Turn around point is Farragut Statue at Pleasure Bay/Boston Harbor.
* Race starts and ends at the Boys & Girls Club (230 West 6th), left on Dorchester St, down E Broadway and back to W Broadway, left on E, left on West 6th.
EVEN IF THE LAST MOVE DID NOT SUCCEED, THE INNER COMMAND SAYS MOVE AGAIN.
