Join us for the 17th annual Southwest Center City 5K Run on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia! This exciting event invites runners and walkers of all ages to traverse the scenic residential streets of Southwest Center City, all while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the Marian Anderson Neighborhood Academy Supporters and Stanton Community Partners, two nonprofit organizations dedicated to enriching local elementary schools.
Participants can choose to join the in-person race on October 25 or opt for a virtual 5K, allowing you to complete your run wherever you feel most comfortable during the suggested race dates in October. Don’t miss out on the Monster Mile, a fun 1-mile run, and for our youngest athletes, the Spooky Sprint, a delightful ~100 yard dash for kids under 6. Lace up your running shoes and be part of a fantastic day filled with community spirit and outdoor fun!

It's our 17th annual Southwest Center City (SWCC) 5K and we are excited to offer an in-person race on Saturday, October 25 and a virtual 5k option.
Since 2009 participants have run through the beautiful residential streets of the Southwest Center City while helping to raise money to improve the neighborhood. The proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the Marian Anderson Neighborhood Academy Supporters (MANAS) and Stanton Community Partners (SCP), 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that benefit the neighborhood elementary schools.
The SWCC 5K is a run/walk that can be completed in person on October 25th or virtually. Participants can complete the race distance wherever they want during the suggested race dates in October.
