In addition to the main 5K race, participants can look forward to the beloved Monster Mile, a 1.0-mile fun run, and the Spooky Sprint, a delightful ~100-yard dash for children under six. Whether you choose to join us in person on race day or opt for the virtual 5K option, be sure to register by October 5th to guarantee your race shirt! Join us for a day of community spirit, fun, and fitness this Halloween!

It's our 18th annual Southwest Center City (SWCC) 5K and we are excited to offer an in-person race on Saturday, October 31st and a virtual 5k option.
Since 2009, participants have run through the beautiful residential streets of the Southwest Center City while helping to raise money to improve the neighborhood. The proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the Marian Anderson Neighborhood Academy Supporters (MANAS) and Stanton Community Partners (SCP), 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that benefit the neighborhood elementary schools.
The SWCC 5K is a run/walk that can be completed in person on October 31st or virtually. Participants can complete the race distance wherever they want during the suggested race dates in October. We will continue to offer the Monster Mile, a 1.0 mile fun run and and for our youngest athletes, the Spooky Sprint, a ~100 yard dash for kids under 6.
