Not only will you enjoy the stunning trails, but you'll also be contributing to worthy causes, as this year’s races will benefit the Shenandoah Valley Equine Rescue Network and the Katie Teets Bradshaw Comfort House Inc. The event kicks off with check-in starting at 7:00 AM, followed by the race beginning at 8:00 AM. Participants can find ample parking and restroom facilities at the new Sherando Park Bike Park / Outdoor Fitness Gym, located at 525 Line Drive, Stephens City, VA. After crossing the finish line, enjoy water and snacks to refuel. Join us for a day filled with adventure, community, and purpose!

Join us on the bike trails in Sherando Park for another extraordinary summer of trail racing. This year we are bringing back the 10K and 25K. New to this year is the 50K to complete the series. All three races will test your skill and ability but leave you wanting to do it again.
Each year our races benefit a couple of charities. This year the 10K and 25K will raise money for the Shenandoah Valley Equine Rescue Network. The 50K will benefit the Katie Teets Bradshaw Comfort House Inc.
This year the race will start and end at the new Sherando Park Bike Park / Outdoor Fitness Gym parking lot. On Google Maps you can punch it in as 525 Line Drive, Stephens City, VA, and it will get you there. It is a large parking area and has bathroom facilities. Check-in for the race will begin at 0700 and the race will start at 0800. There will be water and snacks at the finish and one water stop mid-way through the course.

OPENS SOONThe 25K will test your speed and endurance as you travel three times around the trail. This race is a love/hate relationship with running as you do your first loop and and feel excited only to get out for the second and question why you even do this. Then third loop comes around and you remember that you can accomplish big goals and this one is almost over!! It's a roller-coaster of emotions but worth every minute of it. -
SPEAR 50k Trail Race

OPENS SOONNew this year is the 50K distance. This takes the place of the 8 Hour. This race will allow you to know that there is an end in sight. Six loops around the course and you will achieve ultra marathon status! Join your old friends and new friends and take a chance at setting a PR for speed or distance.
