The Southern Arizona Roadrunners is celebrating 50 years with a special edition of the Spring Cross Country Classic 5K in 2026a free race for everyone! Set on the scenic rolling trails of Lincoln Regional Park, this retro-inspired event brings runners back to the sports grassroots: no shirts, no medals, just pure cross-country fun. Teams of three can compete for recognition, and throwback attire is highly encouraged to capture the 1970s running vibe. With vintage tunes, community spirit, and a joyful nod to SARs legacy, its a celebration of running, friendship, and 50 years of Tucsons running community.
