Join us for the SPRING INTO STEEP ROCK HIKING CHALLENGE a self-paced adventure to HIKE 30 MILES during the spring season across any of our preserves: HIDDEN VALLEY, STEEP ROCK, MACRICOSTAS, AND WEST MOUNTAIN.
Spring is one of the most beautiful times to explore the preserves. Watch for blooming spring ephemerals like trout lily, budding trees, returning birdsong, and longer, brighter days. Lets welcome the season together one mile at a time.
Hike a little at a time or log longer treks miles can be completed on any SRA trails BETWEEN MARCH 20 AND JUNE 16. Track your mileage and submit your total by the final day of the challenge. Easily log your miles online. Alternatively, you can track your miles on your own and email your final results to info@steeprockassoc.org to ensure we can confirm you've completed the Challenge.
