Get ready for a spooktacular time at the 10th Annual St. Peter Spooktacular 5k & Kids Pumpkin Fun Run on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Huron, Erie. The 5K race kicks off on Main Street in front of St. Peter's Catholic Church, offering a flat course that winds through the scenic neighborhood. Walkers are welcome, with sidewalks available along the route. Top finishers in each category will receive prizes, adding to the excitement of the event. Following the 5K, kids can participate in the Pumpkin Fun Run, a fun-filled half-mile lap around the Huron/Main Street block. All participants will receive a candy treat bag prize, making it a memorable experience for the whole family. Don't forget to dress up in your best costume, as there will be awards for the best-dressed participants. Plus, all funds raised from the event go towards supporting the students of St. Peter School, making it a great way to give back to the community while having a blast.
Organiser's Description
The 10th Annual St. Peter Spooktacular 5k & Kids Pumpkin Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The 5K begins on Main Street in front of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and runs the streets of Huron. A relatively flat course, with sidewalk present for walkers, participants will run/walk the neighborhood of Oklahoma and the streets along Cleveland Road West and the Old Plat. Top 3 placers in each category will be awarded a prize.
The Kids Pumpkin Fun Run will take place following the 5k. It begins in front of the St. Peter School on Huron Street, and is one lap around the Huron/Main Street block, approximately 1/2 mile. All participants will be awarded a candy treat bag prize.
All participants (and spectators) are encouraged to dress in costume. Best costume awards will be given out.
100% of all funds raised from this event benefit the students of St. Peter School.

This event is one lap around the St. Peter block. Begins heading north in front of St. Peter School (Huron Street), turns left on Mill Street, left in front of Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop on Main Street, left on Cleveland Rd E., left on Huron Street, and ends at the first entrance to the parking lot. Approx. 1/2 mile.
