Only those who have hit the following standards at _A COMPUTER TIMED EVENT_ (Normal middle school meets do NOT count. This is likely the CCPS county meet or equivalent).

By completing this registration, you are agreeing to have the GCR YOUTH TEAM sign you up as part of our club team. Additionally, you agree to transport your child and have a representative in attendance to provide supervision on May 15th (3000m runners) or May 16th at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. Information will be disseminated at the Monday and Wednesday practices leading up to the event, but THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SHOWING UP IN THE APPROPRIATE PLACE AND "CHECKING IN" REMAINS WITH THE ATHLETE ON RACE DAY AT IMG. This is a large venue and requires a self-sufficient and focused athlete that listens to the PA system calls and follows along the results online.



(Optional) PRACTICES:

May 4th, 6th, 11th, and 13th from 5:30 - 6:30pm at Naples High School. Make sure a ride is there to pick you up promptly at 6:30pm. Practices are optional for qualifiers. Just make sure you come to at least one of them to pick up a uniform prior to May 16th at IMG. Waiting until the day of the meet could ultimately leave you without a uniform, so please make arrangements ahead of time.



** Field events are welcome to train at their own site, and with their own coaches. FOR PRACTICES WITH FIELD ATHLETES AND RELAYS..... GULF COAST RUNNERS DOES NOT PROVIDE COACHES, JUST FACILITIES. We don't want to change anything that worked for you all year (and everyone does things differently). If you wish to train on Monday and Wednesdays at Naples HS, their pits are available for Shot and Long Jump (Discus is NOT due to events happening on their turf at the same time)

Uniforms:

A uniform is provided for those who select that option at sign up. Sizes are NOT guaranteed, but we will do our absolute best to put each athlete in a properly fitting jersey. They have already been ordered prior to anybody qualifying, so we must use our best judgement. (NOTE: If you ran state cross country in the Fall or have another Gulf Coast Runners jersey, YOU DO NOT NEED ANOTHER UNIFORM. Please select the appropriate link. above when signing up)

Admission

$10 wristbands for non-competitors are required for entry, (NOTE: Discus and Shot put is outside and does not necessarily require entry)
