This unique event, hosted in collaboration with Weldon Mills Distillery, invites runners to celebrate the end of Prohibition while showcasing their Stubborn Spirit on the historic Roanoke Canal Trail. Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, all of which will earn a shiny medal, while those tackling the impressive 100-mile challenge will receive a specially crafted buckle.
Kick off the festivities with packet pickup on Friday, December 4th, from 4 to 7 PM at Weldon Mills Distillery, and be ready to hit the trail bright and early on Saturday, December 5th, with race start at 8 AM. Organiser's Description
Brand new race from those Stubborn Donkey Running folks! We are excited to team up with the city of Weldon & Weldon Mills Distillery to bring you a crafted 24 hour event this December! Come celebrate the end of Prohibition, decide your proof, and how youll age on the trail! This is your chance to put your Stubborn Spirit on display while running on the historic Roanoke Canal Trail! All distances will get a medal, 100 mile runners will earn a specially crafted buckle.
