The action kicks off at 11 AM with the 10K race, followed closely by the 5K run and walk at 11:05 AM. Young participants can also get in on the fun with a special 1/2 Mile Young Recruits Race at noon. After the races, don’t miss the awards ceremony and post-race party, where you can celebrate your achievements and connect with fellow participants. Organiser's Description
On Sunday, November 3, 2024, runners, hikers, and walkers will join in supporting Veterans by participating in the Sweat For Vets Challenge at the Brush Mountain Sportsmens Association in Altoona, Pennsylvania. There will be a 10K and 5K trail race as well as a 5K trail walk for participants to choose from. The 10K race will be a challenging course scaling the Allegheny Mountains. A 5K race and walk will also be conducted in support of local Veterans. All events will begin and finish at the Brush Mountain Sportsmens Association located in Pinecroft.
10K race Starts at 11 AM.
5k Run/Walk will follow at 11:05AM (Walkers please line up towards the back to allow runners ahead.
1/2 Mile Young Recruits Race will start at noon.
Please stay for awards and post race party!
