Join us for the inspiring Sweat For Vets Challenge on Sunday, November 1, 2026, in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania. This exciting event brings together runners, hikers, and walkers to support our Veterans while enjoying the great outdoors. Participants can choose from a thrilling 10K trail race that scales the stunning Allegheny Mountains, or opt for the more leisurely 5K trail race or 5K trail walk. All events kick off at the Brush Mountain Sportsmens Association, starting with the 10K race at 11 AM, followed by the 5K run/walk at 11:05 AM, and a special 1/2 Mile Young Recruits Race at noon.

Organiser's Description
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, runners, hikers, and walkers will join in supporting Veterans by participating in the Sweat For Vets Challenge at the Brush Mountain Sportsmens Association in Altoona, Pennsylvania. There will be a 10K and 5K trail race as well as a 5K trail walk for participants to choose from. The 10K race will be a challenging course scaling the Allegheny Mountains. A 5K race and walk will also be conducted in support of local Veterans. All events will begin and finish at the Brush Mountain Sportsmens Association located in Pinecroft.
10K race Starts at 11 AM.
5k Run/Walk will follow at 11:05AM (Walkers please line up towards the back to allow runners ahead.
1/2 Mile Young Recruits Race will start at noon.
