Runners, lace up your lucky shoes for this much-loved race in Livingston County! Join us for LIGHT OF THE WORLD ACADEMY'S [https://www.lightoftheworldacademy.org/] 14TH ANNUAL RUN FOR THE GOLD 5K & KIDS FUN RUN PRESENTED BY MUGG & BOPPS!
This mixed trail course of Michigan country dirt roads, paved trail, and the streets of downtown Pinckney truly supports our community's youth. 47% of our 5k runners are under 18, and we have around 375+ runners with their cheering families filling downtown Pinckney. The Kid's Fun Run hosts an additional 60-80 kids, and the Pinckney St. Patrick's Day parade starts right after.
This year's race continues to benefit the NEW PLAYGROUND at Light of the World Academy.

REGISTER BY MARCH 1, 2026, TO GET THE SHIRT SIZE YOU WANT!
* $30 until March 8th
* $35 March 9th -13th
* $40 on race day (online registration only; we can take cash)
* Kids run $10
NOTE: You're welcome to register in person at the PCYDI Red House during Friday packet pick up the morning of the race. We can take cash or a check for in-person registrations.
5K registration closes at 5 minutes before start time. Kids Registration is open until start time.
The race will be professionally timed by the MICHIGAN RUNNING FOUNDATION [https://www.michiganrunningfoundation.com/]. Results will be live and on this website after the race.
KIDS FUN RUN - no need for packet pick up! You're welcome to swing by the PCYDI Red House on Friday, 5 pm-7 pm, and register your kids in person or pick up their shirt for the next day's kids fun run. On the day of the race, stop in at PCYDI's red house in the park to get your t-shirt (while supplies last) and head to the 5K start line where Mr L, Light of the World Academy's PE teacher, will get the kids warmed up for their lucky run around the park!
