Participants can choose from a challenging 10K course or a scenic 5K route that winds along the picturesque Michigan Airline Trail, part of the Great Lake to Lake Trail. For families and younger participants, the 1 Mile Fun Run offers a delightful tour through Wixom's charming downtown neighborhoods.
Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit while supporting a great cause! Each registration contributes $5.00 to Camp Casey, an organization dedicated to bringing the healing power of horses to children battling cancer and rare blood disorders. Every participant will receive a complimentary Derby Day wristband, finishing medal, and t-shirt, with guaranteed shirts for those who register by April 5th. On-site registration begins at 8:00 am at Sibley Park, and remember, all transactions will be cashless—so bring your credit or debit card! And theyre off! The Wixom Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will host its annual Derby Day races on Saturday, May 3rd at Sibley Square Park located in the heart of downtown Wixom. The 2025 Derby Day races will utilize 5K and 10K routes that takes participants along the Michigan Airline Trail, which is part of the Great Lake to Lake Trial. The 1 Mile Fun Run will lead participants through our beautiful downtown neighborhoods.
We will have onsite registration the morning of the race starting at 8:00 am at Sibley Park. The transactions for payment will be cashless. Please make sure to have a credit or debit card with you.
Participants will receive a complimentary Derby Day wristband, finishing medal, and t-shirts. To guarantee at t-shirt you must register by April 5th. After that, shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage you to stay after the race and enjoy downtown Wixom. Grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, etc.

Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, May 2nd from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the City of Wixom Municipal Campus, 49045 Pontiac Trail, Wixom, MI 48393. If you cannot make it at this time, you can receive your packet the morning of the race starting at 8:00 am at Sibley Park at the registration table.
