Participants will dive into a thrilling 50-yard freestyle race, and everyone is welcome—regardless of swimming skill level.
Think you’ve got what it takes to be the fastest? Compete for a chance to qualify for the Fastest Swimmer on the Roaring Fork, a head-to-head elimination showdown! With entry fees varying by age, there’s something for everyone, and grand prizes will be awarded to the top male and female competitors in addition to prizes for the fastest times in age groups ranging from 13-19 to 60+. Don't miss out on the fun, camaraderie, and competition—all while supporting a great cause!

Organiser's Description
Support the swimmers of the Aspen Swim Club in the 3rd edition of our charity swim race! Take off from the blocks in a timed 50 yard freestyle race. Swim with your friends or make new friends to swim with. All are welcome to participate, no swimming skill required! Think you are fast? The fastest male and female competitors will qualify for the Fastest Swimmer on the Roaring Fork, a head-to-head elimination competition. Entry pricing varies based upon age. Grand Prizes will go to the overall winners of the male and female divisions. There will also be prizes for the top time in each age-group--ages 13-19, 20-39, 40-59, & 60+.

Schedule: 3:30 pm--check in 4:00 pm--the pool opens for general warm-up 4:30 pm--qualifying heats: top 32 swimmers advance Top 32 swimmers advance to Sweet 16 round, and are seeded in Bracket format (#1 qualifier swims against #16), male and female brackets 4:50 pm--general warm-up, 20 minutes 5:10 pm--Sweet Sixteen: 16 heats of 2 swimmers, 8 winners advance to Elite 8 quarterfinals 5:30 pm--general warm up, 10 minutes 5:40 pm--Elite 8 quarterfinals: 8 heats of 2 swimmers, 4 winners advance to semifinals 5:50 pm--general warm up, 10 minutes 6:00 pm--Semifinals: 4 heats of 2 swimmers, 2 winners advance 6:05 pm--general warm up, 10 minutes 6:15 pm--Championship races 6:30 pm--Awards Entry Fees Include: entry, a commemorative t-shirt and swim cap, and a chance to win extravagant prizes. $150 for ages 19 and up $25 for age group club swimmers (13-18). *All proceeds go to support the operation of the Aspen Youth Swim Team. *Email questions to Becky: [email protected]
