Are you ready to lace up your running shoes and Party Like a Runner? Look no further than the Big Run 5K, hosted by Fleet Feet Canton. Whether youre a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event is for everyone. Heres why you wont want to miss it:
COMMUNITY CONNECTION: The Big Run brings together runners and walkers of all abilities. Connect with your local Fleet Feet community and share the joy of running.
SCENIC COURSE: The race takes place at the picturesque Etowah River Park, offering stunning views as you conquer the 5K distance.
LITTLE RUN 1-MILER: Prefer a shorter distance? Weve got you covered! Join the Little Run 1-miler and cross the finish line with a smile.
FAMILY FUN: Bring your loved ones! Enjoy family yard games, visit vendors, and indulge in cookies, ice cream, and coffee available for purchase.
GIVE BACK: Our community partner for this race is Goshen Valley. Their mission is to provide hope and healing to foster youth and vulnerable families to cultivate personal healing and generational change. More than 120 kids in their our residential programs experience the safety of a home, the love of a family, and the hope of a future daily. We will be collecting GENTLY used shoes in support of their efforts.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
6:30 a.m.: Race day packet pick-up at Etowah River Park
7:30 a.m.: Big Run 5K run start
8:30 a.m.: Little Run 1-mile start
EARLY PACKET PICK-UP: Fleet Feet Canton on June 6th and 7th (1431 Riverstone Parkway, Canton, GA 30114).
RACE DAY PACKET pick-up starts at 6:30 a.m. at Etowah River Park.
WINNERS & AWARDS:
Metals will be awarded to the 5K first place overall male & female winners, first place overall male & female Master's group and the first place finishers in each age group categories listed below.
14 and under,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
All runners will receive a Fleet Feet race bib, and a 2024 race day t-shirt. Shirts are unisex adult sizing.
