Join us for the exciting Dam Melon Run on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the charming town of Saline, Bienville! This vibrant event celebrates the annual Watermelon Festival and promises a fun-filled day for runners and spectators alike. The race kicks off at 7:00 a.m. with sign-ups starting at 6:30 a.m. at Saline High School, making it easy for participants to get in on the action.
Runners of all ages can compete in various age groups, with distances designed to challenge and inspire. Awards will be presented immediately following the race, recognizing the top three finishers in categories ranging from 0-19 to 70+. Special accolades will also be given to overall winners, as well as Master, Grand Master, Senior Master, and Legend categories. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to support the Storehouse of Saline Food Pantry while enjoying a day of health, community, and celebration!

Organiser's Description
We will be holding the race Saturday July 12, 2025 for the Watermelon Festival. All proceeds benefit the Storehouse of Saline Food Pantry. Sign ups will begin at 6:30 a.m. the day of the race at Saline High School. Race will begin at 7:00 a.m. across the street at Magnolia Baptist Church.
Awards & Age Groups: Awards will take place immediately following the race. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be awarded in the following age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. We will have a special award for male/female overall winner, Master (40-49), Grand Master (50-59), Senior Master (60-69), and Legend (70+).
