The GIANT 5K Memorial Day Run/Walk

Come join the cadets from Ben Davis High School Marine Corps JROTC in a non-timed 5k moto-run/walk. Before we start, we will have service to honor our fallen service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

A little about our fundraiser, Ben Davis MCJROTC has 3 very competitive team with the program, Drill, Rifle and Raider Teams. Each year, these cadets have earned their way to compete at a National level, and this year they have done just that! However, lack of funding has always been the show stopper, but we hope to make it to Nationals this year with your help!

So what is a moto-run? It is a military style formation run with cadets who will take turns calling motivated cadences from start to finish! You have the option to run with the formation, at your own leisure or jump in the formation and break off whenever you like. Time isn't the focus here, it is all about comradery and cohesion, but you can be rest assured that you will still burn those calories while having fun! The course is a very friendly and safe route which is easy to follow on the school campus that will go from hard surface to grass terrain. Don't worry about getting lost or tired, there will be cadets spread out along the route to help motivate and guide you along the way at each water station. We will also have medics onsite along with our local recruiters from all branches of services available to provide information about military service.

All paid participants will receive a t-shirt at check in. SO LETS GET MOTIVATED!
