OVERVIEW
Welcome to The Heritage Challenge, an all-new timed endurance event hosted on the scenic loops of Heritage Park in Adrian, Michigan. Whether you're chasing your first ultra-distance, want to dip your toes into trail running, or you're a seasoned athlete looking to test your limits this event is for you.
Choose from a 3-hour or 6-hour race, and see how many loops you can complete on our well-marked, runnable course. With frequent fueling, community vibes, and a course thats both welcoming and deceptively tough, the Heritage Challenge offers something for everyone from the 5K-first-timers to the mileage monsters.

COURSE FORMAT
Loop length: Either a ~1-mile or 5K loop (final course TBA)
Terrain: Mixed park trails, grass, paved paths no major elevation, but constant movement required
The loop allows for easy access to your gear, nutrition, and mental reset
No need for course mowing or technical trail gear just come ready to move

9:00 AM 6-Hour Challenge Start
12:00 PM 3-Hour Challenge Start
3:00 PM Races finish - Last loop must be started by 1:45 pm

Each lap brings you back to the start/finish line and fully stocked aid station, making it easy to refuel, rehydrate, and mentally reset before heading back out. No need to carry heavy gear or guess when your next support stop will be help is never more than 3 miles away. The looped design also allows you to track your progress in real time, cheer for fellow runners, and set your own pace for the duration of the 3-hour or 6-hour race.
