Get ready for an exhilarating day at The Labor Day Slay, hosted by Rockinator Racing LLC on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at the stunning Queeny Park! Starting bright and early at 7:30 AM, this event features an array of race distances to suit every fitness level, including a 5K, 10K, 10K Ruck, and a Half Marathon. Participants will enjoy a scenic route through the shady, rolling trails of Queeny Park, with a lively atmosphere at Racers Village at the Smith Pavilion.
All racers will receive a big, custom finishers medal and have the chance to earn awards in various age categories, from youth to seniors. The first 30 participants in the Ruck division will even take home a commemorative patch! With professional chip timing, aid stations, and a fantastic post-race celebration featuring music, snacks, and free photos and videos, this event is sure to kick off your Labor Day weekend in style. Welcome to The Labor Day Slay! 5k-10k, 10k Ruck, Half Marathon! Brought to you by Rockinator Racing.
Starting Saturday August 29th at 7:30 am in beautiful Queeny Park.
Run Walk Jog or Ruck starting from Racers Village at the Smith Pavillion, through the shady rolling trails of Queeny park.
BIG CUSTOM FINISHERS MEDAL INCLUDED! Custom MEDAL badges and awards to the top 3 in all event Age Groups! (1-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) 5K,10K, Ruck and Half Marathon with podiums and Free photos and video for download! The First 30 Ruckers get a commemorative sew on patch.
For registering, you not only get an awesome run on the beautiful Queeny trails, you get a Big ol' heavy finishers medal, The Rockinator Racing Backpack, A soft spun T-shirt commemorating the event, Race Snacks, Colas, Drinks, Ice Popsicles, Professional Chip Timing, Aid station access every lap at 3.25 miles. Fully marked course, Music rocking at racer village, Podium Awards Ceremony, Free Action Pics and finish line Video. Whew! A great way to kick off Labor Day Weekend!

Packet pick up will be race morning starting at 6:15 until 7:15. Please try to pick up your packet early to avoid lines!
National Anthem goes off at 7:26. You run off at 7:30.

10K Ruck

2 Laps, Depart Racers village and run/walk along the well marked course back through Racers Village through the Water/Aid station, wave at your friends, Cross the Timing Mat to record you first lap time, and take another lap! You are on the same course as the 10K, but with your 20lb or 30lb Ruck sack. (20lb sack for human weight 150 or less. 30lb sack for 151 and higher) You can go heavier, just not lighter to be elgible for awards, We will have a scale on site. Continue to the finish and collect your medal! Top 3 in your Age Group? stick around for more awards and podium photo ops!
