The Lenawee Endurance Club, in partnership with Hungry Howie's, is excited to present "The Missing Slice - Love, Hope & Pizza 5K" on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 in Adrian, Lenawee. This special event aims to raise $2,500 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, bringing the community together for a great cause. Participants can join the fun run, which starts 15 minutes before the 5K, with finisher medals and T-shirts for all. The 5K run/walk is a timed event with awards, featuring a course that includes city roads and the Kiwanis Trail. Organiser's Description
The Lenawee Endurance Club has partnered with Hungry Howie's to put on _"The Missing Slice - Love, Hope & Pizza 5k" _This event is special to all of us who have been affected directly or indirectly by the battle with Breast Cancer. We have teamed up for a community goal of $2,500 to be raised and donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Join us on October 26th, 2024 at 8:00 AM to be apart of one of the biggest and most charitable events the Lenawee Endurance Club has ever put on.
FUN RUN DETAILS:
* The Fun Run will take place 15 minutes before the start of the 5K run/walk
* It will take place from the same start line and will be a half-mile course finishing at the same place it started
* All participants in the Fun Run will receive a finisher medal and T-shirt _If signed up before the deadline of Oct. 11th_
* Kids 12 and under are able to participate in the fun run since this is not a timed event
* If younger participants need help with the run or want a parent with them that is allowed as well
* If you have questions about participating in the fun run please reach out to the race director, Ian Moran
5K RUN/WALK DETAILS:
* This is a timed event with overall awards given out post race
* The race course is about 60% city roads and 40% on the Kiwanis Trail, please see race map for details [https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/6190295866]
* This course will be on open roads with volunteers and signs to help lead the way

CLOSEDThis is a timed event, participants will have 2 hours to complete the course. Please keep in mind the course itself will not be completely closed so there will still be traffic. We will have crossing guards, policeman, and volunteers there to help protect runners and walkers at big intersections. Awards will be given out for the following, and they will be announced and handed out following the conclusion of the race.
