The Lenawee Endurance Club is proud to bring back The Missing Slice Love, Hope & Pizza 5K for its third year! This annual event raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research, support, and early detection through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Why The Missing Slice?
The name is a nod to our mission: to help close the gap in resources needed to end breast cancerand a shout-out to our title sponsor, Hungry Howies, who will be serving up free post-race pizza for all participants!
This event is personal to so many of uswhether you or a loved one has faced breast cancer, we invite you to run, walk, or cheer in support of this meaningful cause. Our community fundraising goal this year is $2,500, and 100% of donations will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Timed race with overall awards presented post-race
Open roads: Volunteers and signage will guide the route
Strollers and walkers are welcome!
Fun Run (Ages 10 & Under):
Starts at 8:15 AM (15 minutes before the 5K)
A half-mile loop starting and finishing at the official start line
Participants receive a finisher medal and T-shirt (register by October 12 to guarantee a shirt)
Parents may run alongside younger kids
Post-Race:
Stick around after your run/walk for complimentary pizza provided by Hungry Howies, plus community vibes and high-fives all around!

A parking map will be available below. On race morning:
Green Lot: Reserved for volunteers
Blue Lot: For race participants
Any changes will be communicated prior to the event.

This is a timed event, participants will have 2 hours to complete the course. Please keep in mind the course itself will not be completely closed so there will still be traffic. We will have crossing guards, policeman, and volunteers there to help protect runners and walkers at big intersections. Awards will be given out for the following, and they will be announced and handed out following the conclusion of the race. First Overall (Male/Female) -
