Organiser's Description
THE SOUNDVIEW 5K is a 5000 meter race within Soundview Park in the Bronx. The paved course is flat and fast, with one hell of a hairpin turn! Youll run through an urban green space with playgrounds, soccer baseball fields, and an amphitheater. Oh, and youll also run along the Bronx River!
A prizes will be awarded to the 1st place male and 1st place female runners of each wave.
Age Group Awards will go to the top Male Female for the following Age Groups:
19 and under20 - 2930 - 3940 - 4950 - 5960
The race starts at 10am.
The SOUNDVIEW 5K will have a waved start method.
10:00 AM - Elite Wave 10:10 AM - Community Wave
This event is directed by an RRCA Certified Race Director.
