This all-sport weekend is sure to please. Nestled in the heart of San Juan Island, Lakedale Resort's family friendly atmosphere is the perfect location for an event! Both the Triathlon and the Runs occur on the same day, and some of the courses are similar. A triathlon on an island and not just any island, San Juan Island, WA! An Island with breathtaking views, natures finest, hills and numerous times on top 10 island lists! Where else have you had the chance to see Orca Whales on the Olympic bike course and Marathon course?! Live music, catered post-race food and family activities await you at the finish.

Run contains a partial out and back, relatively flat (for here) and includes a portion of gravel road through the Three Meadows neighborhood, also known as one of the best birding areas on the island. This event is fully contained on Lakedale property, so no regular road traffic to be concerned with. The swim is approximately 50 yards and heavily guarded. The bike is approximately 1 mile on lakedale gravel roads through the campsite. The run is approximately 1/2 mile again through Lakedale campground. Kids finish at the same finish line as the adults. Race starts when last adult swimmer is out of the water, approximately 9:30 a.m. We request 13 years and under and able to swim. -

Make it a weekend and take a day to see San Juan Island! The Half Marathon, like everywhere on the island, has hills. The most famous being the Yacht Haven Road out and back. The good news is you get to fly down hill for about 1/2 mile. The even better news is you get to come back up! From there it's simply rolling hills through a national park and other scenic inner-island views! -

OPENS 18 JUN 26This all-sport day is sure to please. Nestled in the heart of San Juan Island, Lakedale Resort's family friendly atmosphere is the perfect location to finish a run! Make a weekend of it and see the rest of beautiful San Juan Island. We're not going to lie. This is a difficult marathon. Us Race Directors use words like scenic to distract you from the degree of difficulty. But this course really is scenic and one of the only courses you can see the straight, Olympics, wildlife, farmland and if you're lucky, our famous Orca whales! See, you stopped thinking about hills already! We do request that you approach this event as a run and not a walk. We will have a 5 hour, 30 minute cutoff for this years race. Last year's average finish time was 4 hours, 24 minutes. -
