Organiser's Description
Come talk trash with the Cumberland Gap Adventure Company and participate in the Trash Talk 5k!
We welcome you to the second Trash Talk 5k and are pumped to get to know you, share our mission, and pick up some trash. Set in the idyllic and historic Cumberland Gap, it's a weekend with something for everyone in the family.
The 5k itself is a "typical" race - no trash or cleanup activities will occur during the race, unless you're just feeling benevolent and notice a Clif Bar wrapper.
After the finish line, the race will be followed by some fun hang-time and an organized trash pickup in partnership with Responsible Stewardship, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Check out the Responsible Stewardship social media pages on Facebook and Instagram to see more about the great work this group does (@responsiblestewardship).
