The US PERFORMANCE CENTER [https://www.usperformancecenter.com/] Draft Legal Triathlon Festival is a day of collegiate and elite development draft legal triathlon racing featuring both a National Triathlon Development Race (NTDR) but also the Womens Collegiate Triathlon East National Qualifier. Proudly presented by the Charlotte, NC based US Performance Center and staged out of beautiful LAKE NORMAN STATE PARK [https://www.ncparks.gov/state-parks/lake-norman-state-park], this draft legal triathlon features clear water, rolling courses and great racing. The swim start features a sandy beach start and a crisp, clear lake. The bike and run courses are rolling and stay completely inside the park. Each lap of the bike and run courses bring athletes through the race site, so get ready to watch some great racing!

If you are spectating and bringing the family this is a great time of the year to be in the Carolinas. Lake Norman is home to numerous lodging options and attractions including great trail running and mountain biking in the park. You can learn more about the area HERE.
