Did you know that 3.2 BILLION PEOPLE, NEARLY 40% OF THE WORLDS POPULATION, have little to no access to the gospel, including up to 2 BILLION WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD IT EVEN ONCE? These same regions often LACK CLEAN WATER, CONTRIBUTING TO THE DAILY DEATHS OF NEARLY 1,000 CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF FIVE. Yet through the GIFT OF CLEAN WATER, DOORS OPEN TO THE GOSPEL, AND TRUE TRANSFORMATION BEGINS.

About two years ago, the Lord opened a door for LifeBridge Missions, through trusted relationships, to bring the gospel to the UNREACHED POKOT TRIBE IN REMOTE NORTHERN UGANDA, WHERE LESS THAN 2% ARE CHRISTIANS. This largely POLYGAMOUS AND ILLITERATE REGION HAD LITTLE ACCESS TO THE GOSPEL, INCLUDING MANY PASTORS. Through the provision of FOUR LIFE-CHANGING WELLS, OVER 4,000 LIVES HAVE BEEN IMPACTED, WITH AROUND 700 PEOPLE COMING TO CHRIST IN COMMUNITIES WHERE MANY HAD NEVER HEARD THE GOSPEL.

We have seen unity grow, trust established, and lasting transformation take root. A SCHOOL HAS EVEN BEGUN AS A DIRECT RESULT, as the daily pursuit of water no longer consumes their time. THE LORD HAS PLACED A CLEAR CALL ON OUR HEARTS to see the Pokot Tribe come to Christ, be discipled, and carry the gospel to nearby unreached tribes. The purpose of the WATER FOR LIFE race is to INVITE YOU AND OUR COMMUNITY TO PARTNER with us to help make this vision a reality

This event exists to raise awareness and support for clean water initiatives serving the Pokot Tribe of Northern Uganda, WHERE ACCESS TO SAFE WATER IS VIRTUALLY NON EXISTENT! 100% OF ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARDS NEW WELLS, SOLAR WELLS, EDUCATIONAL BUILDINGS, COMMUNITY RESOURCES, AND OUR CONTINUAL MISSIONS TO DISCIPLE.

Through this race, participants become part of bringing both physical water and lasting hope that CHANGE HISTORY OF COMMUNITIES FOR ETERNITY.

THE WATER FOR LIFE RACE IS MORE THAT A RACE: IT IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE THAT IS DESIGNED TO ENGAGE AND REVEAL PARTICIPANTS WITH THE ALL DAY PURSUIT OF WATER. INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES ARE INVITED TO run together, walk together, carry water jugs together, and STAND TOGETHER FOR THOSE THAT CURRENTLY CANT STAND FOR THEMSELVES.
