In addition to participating in the walk, you can enhance your support by making an individual donation, raising funds, or bringing essential cleaning and housing supplies to the drive on event day. Fundraising is encouraged but not required, as we want everyone to feel welcome and able to join in this meaningful cause. ASYLUM PRIDE HOUSE is excited to announce our second annual Welcome Walk!
We will be walking or running a 5K around FDR park to raise funds and show our physical support of LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers here in Philadelphia PA. Registration is $20 and you can show further support by making an individual donation, raising funds, or bringing cleaning / housing supplies to the drive on walk day.
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A WELCOME WALK 2025 T-SHIRT WITH THEIR REGISTRATION FEE. EVERYONE WILL ALSO RECEIVE A FUNDRAISING PAGE, BUT FUNDRAISING IS NOT REQUIRED.

Please arrive for the walk by 8:00 AM to sign in. A tent will be set up near picnic area A. Parking and check-in tent are located at the park entrance on Pattison Ave. and S 20th Street. There is parking available in and around the park, however we cannot guarantee parking. If you need parking, we recommend arriving by 8:00am to ensure there are spaces available.
