Whether you join as an individual or create a team, your participation matters! Feel free to bring along cleaning or housing supplies to donate on walk day. ASYLUM PRIDE HOUSE is excited to announce our second annual Welcome Walk!
We will be walking or running a 5K around The Ott Center Indoor Track at UPenn to raise funds and show our physical support of LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers here in Philadelphia PA. Registration is $20 until the end of August and then it will go up to $30. You can show further support by making an individual donation, raising funds, or bringing cleaning / housing supplies to the drive on walk day.
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A WELCOME WALK 2026 T-SHIRT WITH THEIR REGISTRATION FEE. EVERYONE WILL ALSO RECEIVE A FUNDRAISING PAGE, BUT FUNDRAISING IS NOT REQUIRED. GO THE EXTRA MILE AND JOIN OR CREATE A TEAM!

Please arrive for the walk by 8:00 AM to sign in. A tent will be set up near picnic area A. Parking and check-in tent are located at the park entrance on Pattison Ave. and S 20th Street. There is parking available in and around the park, however we cannot guarantee parking. If you need parking, we recommend arriving by 8:00am to ensure there are spaces available.
