West Rowan Elementary School - 480 Mimosa Street, Cleveland, NC 27013
PROCEEDS: All proceeds will go to support the West Rowan Bible Teaching Association (WRBTA). The WRBTA is a 100% community funded nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raise funds to provide the support necessary for the Bible classes in our West Rowan area schools. RACE DAY REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN: 8:00 8:45 a.m at West Rowan Elementary. 5K race-day registration is $35. Fun Run race-day registration is $20.
5K RUN/WALK: 9:00 a.m. FUN RUN: 10:15 a.m.
5K AWARDS: Top three overall male and female winners will receive a prize and a medal. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group male and female will receive a medal.
CASH PRIZES FOR OVERALL WINNERS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1st place male overall - medal plus $50 cash and $50 gift card
1st place female overall - medal plus $50 cash and $50 gift card
2nd place male overall - medal and $50 cash
2nd place female overall - medal and $50 cash
3rd place male overall - medal and $25 cash
3rd place female overall - medal and $25 cash
5K AGE GROUPS: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-59, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
FUN RUN AWARDS (AGES 12 & UNDER ARE ELIGIBLE): All participants will get a medal.
Awards will be presented race day immediately after the Fun Run. No awards will be mailed. Participants must complete race to receive an award.
SHIRTS: Short-sleeve T-shirts for preregistered runners. T-Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by March 20. Available to others on race day as supplies last.
COURSE: The race starts and ends at West Rowan Elementary. Course will use downtown Cleveland, including the historic Main Street area. The course is flat and fast!!
