7th Annual event, 2026 Will Haney Foundation Race of Champions 5K with proceeds to fund the Will Haney Foundation Scholarship program. The Will Haney Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, was established in 2014 in the memory of our son, brother and friend who was taken from us by childhood cancer on January 8, 2011. The purpose of the Will Haney Foundation is to support patients and families of patients who are suffering from cancer by providing for their needs, providing for cancer research and providing scholarships for graduating seniors going in to the nursing profession. Although, Will passed away from a childhood cancer, we want to support patients and families with all types of cancer. However, when supporting cancer research, this Foundation will focus primarily on childhood cancer with an emphasis on research for Rhabdomyosarcoma.

The race course is USTAF distance Certified and is multi-surface, high school stadium track, asphalt, fine gravel running trail, and boardwalk. A multi-surface shoe is suggested. The course is flat and fairly fast.
