Get ready for the Wonderful Water Run, taking place from September 25th to 26th, 2026, in the picturesque Stevens Point, Portage! This exciting event features a stunning half marathon, as well as 10K and 5K races that promise to thrill runners of all levels. The scenic course will take you through the beautiful city trails, winding along the Wisconsin River and past the serene Lake Joanis, making every step a delight.
Kick off the festivities on Friday evening with packet pick-up at Mid State Technical College from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. The fun continues with a Kids' Race featuring a 1/4 mile dash at 6:00 PM and a 1/2 mile dash at 6:15 PM. Then, on Saturday, join us at Pfiffner Pioneer Park for the main event: the Half Marathon starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the 10K at 9:30 AM and the 5K at 9:45 AM. Don’t miss this chance to experience an unforgettable weekend of running and community spirit!
