This exciting event marks the 34th Annual Spring Trail Run and the 12th Annual Jen Stec Memorial, celebrating the spirit of friendship and competition that defines the running community. Participants will navigate a challenging, primarily grass and earth trail in an age-group graded race, which means everyone has a fair chance to shine, no matter their experience level!
Runners will kick off the race at 11:00 AM, with bib pick-up starting at 10:00 AM. Be sure to pre-register online for just $10, as day-of entries won’t be accepted. This is a fantastic opportunity to honor Jen Stec, a beloved figure in the running community, while enjoying a day of camaraderie and competition. Don’t forget to hydrate – bring your own water, and individual water bottles will be available at the finish line. COME JOIN US FOR THE WYOMING VALLEY STRIDERS 34TH ANNUAL SPRING TRAIL RUN / 12TH ANNUAL JEN STEC MEMORIAL CONTESTED OVER A CHALLENGING, PRIMARILY GRASS AND EARTH TRAIL IN THIS AGE-GROUP GRADED RACE ON SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2026 AT 11:00 AM (NOTE EARLIER START TIME THIS YEAR) AT FRANCES SLOCUM STATE PARK IN WYOMING.
THIS RACE IS ALSO IN MEMORY OF JEN STEC, WHO WAS A FRIEND TO ALL RUNNERS AND FIRST FEMALE IN THIS RACE SIX TIMES. SHE DIED IN 2013 AT AGE 38.
