XTERRA New Jersey is one of the Northeast’s premier off-road endurance events, set in the rugged beauty of Stokes State Forest in the Kittatinny Mountains. Featuring miles of flowing singletrack, scenic ridgelines, and dense hardwood forest, this event delivers a true XTERRA experience just 60 miles from New York City.
Athletes can choose from a full weekend of racing, including off-road triathlon, duathlon, mountain bike races, and trail runs. The triathlon features a swim in crystal-clear Robert Rooke Lake followed by challenging bike and run courses that wind through technical terrain and forested trails.
Distances range from beginner-friendly sprint options to longer, more demanding courses, making the event accessible to first-timers while still offering a serious test for experienced racers.
