Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the THIRD ANNUAL YL RoCo 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, in beautiful Lexington, Virginia! This vibrant event takes place at the VA Horse Center Hoofbeats Barn, where runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to join in the festivities. With a stunning route winding through the picturesque woods and landscape of the Horse Center, participants can choose from three race distances: a 5K, a 2.5K, and a special 1-MILE FUN RUN for kids aged 11 and under.
Best of all, registration is FREE for all races! Runners will receive a complimentary cotton t-shirt (sizes are limited for those who register after September 9th), and there are exciting prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K. After the race, enjoy delicious food from on-site food trucks while supporting the Young Life ministry in Rockbridge County, which serves local middle, high school, and college students. Come on out and join us for the THIRD ANNUAL YL ROCO 5K & FUN RUN ON SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2026 in support of Young Life in Rockbridge County! REGISTRATION IS FREE FOR ALL RACES! We are planning to have a beautiful twilight race at the VA Horse Center Hoofbeats Barn. Whether you're an olympic hopeful, a jogger, or walk the whole time we would love to have you out with us. The route will go from the Hoofbeats Barn through the beautiful VA Horse Center woods and property. We will have food trucks on site for you to purchase food after the race.
This year we are offering a kids 1 MILE FUN RUN (11 & UNDER), a 2.5K, and a 5K.
WE WILL HAVE PRIZES FOR THE TOP 3 MALE AND TOP 3 FEMALE FINISHERS OF THE 5K!
