Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the THIRD ANNUAL YL RoCo 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, in beautiful Lexington, Virginia! This vibrant event, held at the VA Horse Center Hoofbeats Barn, invites participants of all levels to join in on the action, whether you're an aspiring Olympian, a casual jogger, or simply looking to walk and enjoy the scenery. Choose from a variety of race distances, including a kids 1 Mile Fun Run, a 2.5K, and a 5K, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Horse Center's lush woods and property.
Best of all, registration is FREE for all races! Runners will not only receive a stylish cotton t-shirt (be sure to register by September 27th to guarantee your size), but there will also be prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K! After the races, make sure to refuel with delicious offerings from local food trucks on site. Come on out and join us for the THIRD ANNUAL YL ROCO 5K & FUN RUN in support of Young Life in Rockbridge County! REGISTRATION IS FREE FOR ALL RACES! We are planning to have a beautiful twilight race at the VA Horse Center Hoofbeats Barn. Whether you're an olympic hopeful, a jogger, or walk the whole time we would love to have you out with us. The route will go from the Hoofbeats Barn through the beautiful VA Horse Center woods and property. We will have food trucks on site for you to purchase food after the race.
This year we are offering a kids 1 MILE FUN RUN, a 2.5K, and a 5K.
