Get ready for an exciting day of athleticism and fun at the 10th Annual YMCA Youth Triathlon happening on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in beautiful Lecanto, Florida! This USA Triathlon sanctioned event invites young athletes aged 5 to 15 to participate in an exhilarating swim, bike, and run race tailored to their age group divisions. The Senior Division (ages 11-15) will tackle a 200-yard swim, 3-mile bike ride, and 1-mile run, while the Junior Division (ages 5-10) will enjoy a 100-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike ride, and a ½-mile run.
Not only will all finishers receive a custom medal and race t-shirt, but trophies will also be awarded to the top three males and females in each age group. New this year, the Tri4Fun Division allows youth, adults, and families to join in on the fun without the competitive pressure, completing a shorter course for a memorable experience. The event kicks off with packet pickup on Saturday, October 17, followed by race day festivities starting bright and early on Sunday morning. THE RACE STARTS AND FINISHES AT THE CITRUS MEMORIAL HEALTH FOUNDATION YMCA ON CR 486. ALL FINISHERS RECEIVE A CUSTOM FINISHERS MEDAL AND RACE T-SHIRT.
