Get ready for the 8th Annual YMCA Youth Triathlon taking place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in beautiful Lecanto, Citrus County, Florida! This exciting event invites young athletes aged 5-15 to dive into a thrilling swim, bike, and run challenge tailored to their age group divisions. Participants can choose from two race distances: the Senior Division (ages 9-13) featuring a 200-yard swim, 3-mile bike ride, and 1-mile run, or the Junior Division (ages 5-8) with a 100-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike ride, and ½-mile run.
The race starts and finishes at the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA, where all finishers will receive a custom finisher's medal and race t-shirt. Don't miss the chance to compete for trophies awarded to the top three male and female athletes in each age group! Plus, this year introduces the fun and non-competitive TRI4FUN Division, allowing families and individuals of all ages to enjoy the triathlon experience together. With early bird pricing ending July 1st, make sure to register early for this fantastic day of fitness and community spirit!

THERE IS THE JUNIOR DIVISION (BORN 2014-2019) AND THE SENIOR DIVISION (BORN 2009-2013). THERE ARE 2 DISTANCES (JUNIOR & SENIOR) BASED ON AGE.
