Join us for the 10th Annual Pink Lady Walk 5K Race on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, in Athens, Limestone. Since 2014, Pink Lady Walk has been organizing this annual event to raise awareness and funds for individuals battling breast cancer. The mission is to alleviate some of the financial burdens caused by this disease, and over the years, funds have been raised for numerous breast cancer survivors, children with cancer, and various cancer organizations. Pink Lady Walk is a beacon of hope for those in need, and we are dedicated to continuing our support. We invite individuals, businesses, and organizations to contribute and help make a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. Let's come together and make a positive impact at the 10th Annual Pink Lady Walk!
Organiser's Description
Since 2014, Pink Lady Walk has organized an annual 5K event to raise awareness and funds for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. Our mission is simple, to help alleviate some of the financial burdens caused by breast cancer. Since 2014, we have raised funds for 18 breast cancer survivors, one child with cancer, Hospice of Limestone County, AL, the Patient Assistance Fund at The Southern Cancer Center in Huntsville, AL, and the Joy to Life Foundation in Montgomery, AL. Economic depravity is an obstacle that often cannot be overcome. Pink Lady Walk has become a beacon of hope to those who are fighting breast cancer and find themselves in an economic quagmire. We want to continue to help these individuals! Pink Lady Walk requests monetary support from individuals, businesses, and organizations so that we can continue helping individuals and families affected by this dreadful disease.
