This exciting event kicks off at 7:30 a.m. in Downtown Abacoa, where participants are encouraged to embrace the "Wear Bright - Stay In Sight" theme by donning their brightest neon attire. The Live Like Jake 5K offers a fantastic opportunity for runners and walkers alike, with registration beginning at 6:15 a.m.
Not only will you enjoy a high-performance race shirt or hat (for the first 600 participants), a swag bag, and a custom finisher medal (for the first 1,200 registered), but you’ll also be part of a meaningful cause. This beloved event not only promotes community spirit but also raises funds for scholarships for ISR self-rescue swim lessons and provides financial assistance to families facing critical challenges. With a lively kids zone, awards ceremonies for the largest teams, and traditional finishing time categories, the Live Like Jake 5K is sure to be a memorable day filled with fun, community, and purpose!
