Join us for the 15th Annual Gainesville Turkey Trot 5K/10K/Half Marathon presented by Limestone Shirt Factory on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday 28th November 2024 in Gainesville, Hall. This family-friendly event offers something for everyone, from casual walkers to serious runners tackling a hilly course before indulging in Thanksgiving dinner. Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon, with each receiving a soft garment-dyed hoodie. Sign up by November 17th for a special hoodie! This year, digital timing will be provided for quick results. Don't forget to bring at least 3 canned goods to benefit We Care Hall with your registration. Races start at 8:00 am at Riverside Military Academy track area, with package pickup available on Wednesday and race morning. The Half Marathon features a challenging course with self-serve aid stations, while the 5K is an out and back loop and the 10K repeats the course twice. Make sure to stop by Limestone Shirt Factory for packet pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 27th. Don't miss out on this fun Thanksgiving tradition!

THIS IS A FUN EVENT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. FOR THOSE WHO MIGHT WANT TO RUN A SHORT DISTANCE TO THOSE WHO WANT TO TAKE A THANKSGIVING MORNING STROLL TO THE MORE SERIOUS RUNNER THAT WANTS TO RUN SOMEWHAT OF A HILLY COURSE BEFORE CHOWING DOWN ON THANKSGIVING DINNER. VERY LAID BACK BUT FUN!! THIS IS OUR 15TH YEAR OF A FUN TRADITION OFFERING A 5K, 10K, AND HALF MARATHON. EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A NICE SOFT GARMENT-DYED HOODIE. IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A SPECIAL HOODIE YOU MUST SIGN UP BY NOVEMBER 17TH. WE WILL ALSO BE PROVIDING DIGITAL TIMING THIS YEAR! FAST RESULTS WILL BE POSTED IMMEDIATELY.
